One Sick Girl!!!?

I started feeling ill this past week with a sore throat and runny nose! I went to the doc (who was out of the office, so his nurse practitioner saw me)...she looked at my throat and said that my left side was swollen but that it didn't look like strep or mono. I have had mono twice and it doesn't feel like mono. She put me on amox-clavin (stronger than amoxicillan) and sent me home. She didn't swab my throat because she thought it was the same "crud" everyone is getting and that my throat is probably sore and swollen from drainage. WELL, it is Sunday night and I definitely feel worse. My throat isn't better nor is it worse. I just feel cloudy in my head with a sore throat, drainage and swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Should I be freaking out about the lymph nodes? My lymph nodes seemed to swell prior to any of the symptoms I am having (but my husband had bronchitis and the "crud' and I didn't show signs of it until now....Opinions?????
