Mysql_different character set?

when i trying to add different(not english) character to mysql via ajax only in internet explorer it inserts ??????? simbols. in the other browsers it works. I set utf8_general_ci encoding but only internet explorer sucks, any idea....? HELP........ so javascript read`s simbols from file without error and when it send`s to php in the way IE encods simbols to ????????.........
